Lighting interchange E40-E313
August 2022
In August 2022, the Jacobs SA group made it possible to put into practice an idea of the MuSé: to convert old motorway luminaires into interior lighting for the future museum. I was offered the opportunity to recover GZM type luminaires from the Schréder group, which were originally located at the E313-E40 motorway interchange in Vottem.
15 copies were then made available to MuSé.
The idea was to completely dismantle each lamp post and reduce its size (similar to an identical lamp post but for a 36-watt lamp).
With Florent's help, we adapted each appliance so that it could be fitted with an LED lamp.
