Exhibition
European Heritage Days
September 2023
9 and 10 September 2023... Heritage days unveiled in Trooz. The MuSé was present in a room made available by the municipality of Trooz.
This exhibition was the culmination of months of preparation. The team's objectives included making visitors feel welcome, offering material that had almost been forgotten, inviting everyone to take part in small-scale fun activities, and showing for the first time a very small part of the memorial to the floods of July 2021.
We were helped by the Syndicat d'Initiative de Trooz, who lent us a vehicle that was ideally suited to transporting all the equipment.
MuSé had already planned the "centrepiece" of the exhibition, a VTP Schréder H-shaped motorway lamp... lit! With its three-metre wingspan, this luminaire made quite an impression!
Almost every department was represented: from enamelled panels, through old luminaires and backlit signs, to work lanterns and traffic lights.
We had the great privilege of meeting the head of CIERE, a French association with aims identical to those of MuSé.
MuSé also offered visitors a trail of 8 riddles based on the reading of NFC beacons or QR Codes.
As part of its development, the MuSé intends to involve schools in educational projects to be developed in collaboration with the teaching staff. The Fraipont free school came to visit the exhibition.
Our French friends, who share our passion for signals and public lighting, came to see us. It's a very rewarding exchange!
Finally, after an emotional weekend and a lot of preparation for the exhibition, it's great to be able to look back at the visitors' book!
