Flashing light signal

MuSé took action in Charleroi. After being put on the trail of a very old flashing light signal mast, we continued our search and found that this mast was still equipped with a very old ciuffe. With the exception of the rust, the equipment was in very good condition.
It was a very good collaboration between the city, in particular the aldermanate for public works, and the MuSé that enabled this equipment to be saved. Although the file was opened in July 2021, it was completed in December 2021.
After coming into the possession of the museum, the headdress was renovated... The MuSé owns three traffic light headdresses from different eras.
This cap was simply placed on the mast (white arrow). It weighs 3.2 kg, with the middle cap weighing 590 g and the right one 83 g.
